Most printers cannot place ink right to the edge in ordinary mode. The printable margin varies by device and paper choice; check the printer manual. Start with 10 mm margins and a plain-paper test. Borderless mode can expand an image to prevent white edges, changing its scale. For measured prints, use a larger sheet, print at actual size and cut the photo to its boundary.
Before you download
An image can fit the PDF page yet extend beyond the printer’s printable region. Increasing the layout margin moves photos inward without changing their dimensions. If a printer needs more than 10 mm on one edge, increase the margin for the whole layout. Test on ordinary paper before selecting coated photo paper.
